Advanced Learning Techniques

Traditionally all driver learning is undertaken in the car. However, no one learning approach suits all people. With that in mind the instructor will devise a learning programme which combines a number of different learning methods to cover theory and practical tests including:
- Reading of books
- CD based learning
- Web-based learning
- In-Car Video
- Google Earth
- Practice Tests

Such an approach is proven by learning specialists to improve speed of learning and retention rate thereby cutting the overall cost of becoming a safe driver.

accelerate uses in-car video to support learning. The camera has 2 lenses one in-facing and one out-facing so we can see the reaction of the driver in response to what's happening on the road. If it should go 'pear-shaped' the in-car instant replay facility allows the learner to self-evaluate what went wrong - a far more effective approach than discussion and instructor explanation without the replay capability.
We provide a suitable memory stick pre-loaded with the video replay software which also allows post-lesson review with/without parents/friends.
