Rob is AA-trained and is a fully qualified instructor.  He has bags of enthusiasm and boundless energy and aims to bring a highly professional standard to the world of driving instruction.  His focus is on inspiring confidence and competence in learner drivers.

 

Rob has passed the Institute of Advanced Motorists Advanced Driving Test and is shortly to take the RoSPA Advanced Driving Test, aiming to achieve Gold Standard. 

 

A qualified teacher, having taught at both Tomlinscote and Sandhurst Schools (any parents and/or grandparents remember him as your teacher?!), he has spent over 30 years in training both individuals and companies and in the latter years running training organisations. 

 

Having taken redundancy from the pressures of London City business life in Dec 2008, he has made a significant time and financial investment to become a qualified driving instructor and establish accelerate Driver Training.

Peter has been a driving instructor for 4 years, 2 years of which have been with the AA prior to joining accelerate officially in July 2010.  Not only does Peter teach learner drivers, he also trains driving instructors (he trained Rob!).  He also conducts assessments and teaches drivers in the corporate world. 
 
Peter is the Operations Director for Accelerate Driver Training with a responsibility to ensure excellence in service delivery across our developing franchise network.  With an excellent record of test pass success, Peter brings a level of knowledge and enthusiasm which will keep accelerate at the cutting edge of driver training methods ensuring that, as an organisation, we always deliver our services using the most advanced tools and techniques.
 
Having worked in retail for some 17 years, Peter knows how important it is to focus on the customer.  Outside of work Peter gets a buzz from singing solo and in groups ...................and he is a Mac computer anorak!!

Mandy recently qualified as an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor), having completed her training with Red. Mandy joined the accelerate team in June 2010 after it became clear that she shared accelerate's passion for providing quality driving lessons combined with a caring approach to students and excellent customer service.

 

Mandy was brought up in Yateley from the age of 9 and after being made redundant several times from small businesses and watching her youngest child (Matt Sheedy for those that know him) pass his driving test, decided to train to be an instructor herself.

 

For Mandy it’s a career she wishes she’d embarked upon years ago! Mandy takes particular pride in being able to reassure the more ‘nervous’ and ‘shy’ students, underlined by their testimonials to her patience and understanding along with the low number of faults recoded by her students when passing the practical test.
